thank you! I'm having a very hard time finding a 0.9KW E80E, so I was wondering whether or not an E80F would fit. Mine's a 1.2 16v sporting 6 speed. I'm assuming if the teeth are different, it won't fit, right?

Hi all, I have just bought a 2000 Punto Sporting 1.2 16v with ABS and it turns out it has had the 1.4 16v engine fitted from a Stilo at a guess and also started life as a speedgear!. The car starts and drives fine but has no speedo working and is showing P0500 VSS sensor/circuit. I have already tried a known good VSS sensor in the gearbox.

Hi, I have a Punto 1.2 16v Sporting that I am having problems with. At certain times when I accelerate, the car suddenly holds back as if you had hit a rev limiter, & the car has no power. I have noticed it does it more often when I go to overtake or set off from a junction, if I drive the car
In a nutshell: Iā€™ve switched my 1.4 Sportingā€™s stiff suspension to regular/soft suspension components, but the general ride quality remained stiff and harsh. I have two 188 Puntos as of now. One with 5 doors from 2002 (mk2a 1.2 8v Dynamic) and one with 3 doors from 2003 (mk2b 1.4 16v Sporting).
