As a f2p player on Steam vs my Anet account that has the unlocks, it can be annoying for a new player. - Constant buy'em the expansion pop-up in the upper left of the screen. - Mount given, which is then gone after 30 days, i.e entices the player to get said mount back via buying the expansions, or deal with the constant slow walking.
