It says it's fully compatible. Twice I started it and I got a black screen with music playing. I thought maybe it needed sometime to figure itself out, so I left it alone and it crashed, going back to the Steam library launch screen. I tried it again, same result. I ran a check to verify the files & it came back fine. Tried to launch a 3rd time, same result. :( Deck was also updated a day or I found out that this .dll file is part of the 2012 C++ redistribution thingy, that the game should install when you first start it. Unfortunatly it doesn't install it. So I manually installed it by using the .exe file that the game brings along. To do so you gotta go to you're steam folder then steamapps->common->life is strange->_commonredist->vcredist->2012 and use one of these 2 .exe files
Not that guy, I love the game. But it took me 3 tries a few months apart to get past the early teenage drama cringe. Once it picks up tho its fantastic, early episode 3 is where it all comes together imo.
To uninstall Life Is Strange, follow these steps: If it is not already running, launch the Steam application. Select the Library tab. In the library, right-click on Life Is Strange™ in the list of games on the left-hand side of the window, then select Uninstall. A dialog will appear confirming that you wish to delete all the game content. Also, a friend of mine had problems with her firewall not allowing the game access to the internet. So maybe that might be a problem for you. Hope this helped even a handful of people I know and feel your pain. TL:DR. Spam alt-tab on hitting play. Check firewall/anti virus rules.
Ran out of video memory. To Prevent this condition, you must free up more space on your primaty hard disk. I have over 100 GB free. I have installed the game again, but it did not help. Last edited by PatrikSelin ; Apr 5, 2015 @ 10:17am. Showing 1 - 7 of 7 comments. 1stillx Apr 2, 2015 @ 2:48pm.
